BEST BOOTS EVER FOR FALL...

WOLKY-
History of Wolky
Wolky's history goes back to the early 80s. Already back then the Diks shoe stores sold a fair amount of comfort shoes. However, at the time these shoes were hardly fashionable. This prompted the company's founder, Kees Diks to develop a sandals line himself. After the introduction of the Wolky Nature line, the Wolky City line followed in 1989 with its fashionable and colourful sandals with a revolutionary insole consisting of cork and memory foam. After this success, Wolky introduced several shoe lines with removable insoles.

The well-known Dutch designer Charles Bergmans has been with the Wolky family almost from the beginning. By continuously developing innovative shoes, the Wolky collection today consists of more than 18 shoe lines per season. All kind of footwear such as sandals, clogs, high-heels, boots and walking-boots are part of the Wolky collection. Most do have a removable footbed for extra comfort features. For mens, Wolky developed a complete new collection under the name Cloud9.

Towards the Future
While environmental issues become more and more important, Wolky is one of the leading shoe-companies in using environmental friendly materials. The Font collections exists out of leathers that are all tanned without using any chrome or vegetable extracts and are therefore not only skin friendly, but also environmental friendly. Wolky keeps the World green.
This has resulted in a widely spread dealer-net throughout the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, France and the United Kingdom. With more then 1500 point of sales worldwide, Wolky proofs its continious growth. Especially to provide its American customers with a constant supply, Wolky has set up its own factory in Mexico. To supply the European market, Wolky is collaborating with factories in Spain and Portugal.

Wolky shops
To always keep in touch with the needs of our consumers, Wolky opened the first Wolky Shop in Utrecht in 1995. The shop offers the entire Wolky collection. Due to its success, individual retailers have also started Wolky Shops in Amsterdam, Arnhem, Den Bosch, Emmen, Enschede, Haarlem, Leiden, Roermond, Utrecht, Zwolle and  Dordrecht. March 2009 the first Wolky Shop in Germany, Dusseldorf’will open its doors. Another step forward!
